The current reality
Paper tickets, cropped phone photos, and a hope that the expiry date has not passed.
Every crew that walks onto your site brings a stack of tickets you cannot verify on the spot. Some are current, some lapsed months ago, and a few were never real. If something goes wrong, the paperwork is what an investigator reads first, and the burden falls on you.
TrustID is designed to replace the stack with one QR. When a worker sets up their passport, they will add every ticket regardless of which training company issued it, and carry the whole record with them. You will scan, you will read, you will decide.

Photo, first name and last initial, trade, and the credential names the worker holds will each carry a Verified, Checking, or Expired chip. No self-attestations dressed up as proof, and no scrolling through a phone album to find the right ticket.

Decide with real data
A Site-ready chip will tell you if the worker meets your site’s minimum. When it reads Not site-ready, it will spell out exactly what is missing, so you can turn them back or reassign them without a five-minute conversation.

Protect your site
Every scan will be signed, rate limited, and written to an append-only audit trail. If a WorkSafeBC officer or your insurer asks who was Site-ready that morning, you will have a record you can hand over.
Two-tier verification
Fast at the gate, deep when it matters.
The public QR scan is designed to be your three-second read. When the job needs more, a second-tier unlock will bring in the detail behind every credential, only with the worker in front of you and consenting.
- Tier 1, at the gate. Scan the worker’s QR and you will see photo, first name and last initial, trade, credential names, statuses, SAL, and Site-ready. No login required, and no data will leave the phone unnecessarily.
- Tier 2, PIN unlock. The worker enters their four-digit PIN in front of you. Tier 2 will surface expiry dates, certificate numbers, and issuer provenance for every credential on the card, and each unlock will be written to the audit log.
Issuer-agnostic, so you will only ever look at one card.
TrustID is designed to be more than a walled garden. A worker’s passport is built to hold tickets from OnSiteSafety, from Worksitesafety, from Danatec, and from any other training company they have used. Each credential will carry its own issuer name and its own status, so you will always know who stood behind the ticket, and you will never have to check three portals to confirm one crew.

TrustID is designed for the moment an officer or an adjuster asks how you knew that person was Site-ready. Every scan will be signed, rate limited, and written to an append-only audit. Sensitive lookups will require a two-way handshake and the worker’s PIN, never an open form. Credentials will live encrypted, with Canadian data residency, and no one will be able to enumerate the roster by guessing a URL.
