OnSiteSafety™ TrustID

API and developers

Verify a worker’s safety record programmatically, with authenticated, signed, rate-limited requests. The TrustID API lets your systems ask one question, is this person Site-ready, and get a clear answer in plain words instead of a pile of documents.

Programmatic, authenticated verification

Your application asks the trust core whether a worker is verified for a given role, and the response comes back in seconds in plain language, Verified, Checking, or Expired, with whether they are Site-ready. Every request is authenticated, so only systems you authorize can ask, and every answer is a verified view, never raw personal documents handed across the wire.

Signed and rate-limited by design

Calls are signed so you can prove a response truly came from the trust core and was not changed in transit. Requests are rate-limited to keep the platform steady and to make abuse easy to spot and stop. Verification runs as a two-way handshake between your system, the worker, and the site, never an open lookup, so personal records are never exposed to a casual query.

Built for real integrations

  • Authenticated requests, so only systems you approve can ask about a worker.
  • Signed responses, so your side can confirm the answer is genuine and untampered.
  • Rate limits and clear errors, so your integration stays predictable under load.
  • Plain status words in every payload, Verified, Checking, Expired, Site-ready, so your UI reads the way a supervisor speaks.

The data stays where it belongs

The data of record lives in our secure trust core with Canadian data residency, not in your database and not on the public web. The API returns a verified answer for the moment you asked, so you build on a trusted result without ever taking custody of a worker’s underlying records, WorkSafeBC-aligned throughout.
